Genny Chang

Genny Chang joined Newmark’s West Los Angeles office in 2013.

Genny has been focusing on leasing retail and office properties, Landlord and Tenant representation, and investment sales since 2008. Her prior experience as an associate at CBRE led to being named the 2010 Rookie of the Year in the Beverly Hills/Century City office.

Concentrating on the greater Los Angeles area, Genny’s expertise is on the Westside, which includes Santa Monica, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Hollywood. As a native of Los Angeles, she provides in-depth leasing services to clients that own a wide range of assets ranging from high-end street retail to mixed-use projects and luxury shopping centers. She also works with an equally varied group of tenants to identify flagship locations, secondary market expansions, and national growth strategies. Her previous experience as a writer for fashion and entertainment publications helps provide a uniquely informed perspective on the nuances within Los Angeles’ real estate landscape.

Genny received her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
